With this HDMI extender, it transmits audio and video over long distances, through a thinner cable that allows better manipulation or routing. Since HDMI cables are relatively expensive, long-distance transmission of HDMI signals is very difficult. The purpose of the extender is to achieve long-distance signal transmission with low-cost wires.
It is designed to supply for long distance transmission of high definition signal. Scope: It uses a 1080p CAT 6 Ethernet cable up to 50 meters, preserving the highest digital audio and video quality.
Remote Control Extender: It also sends the remote control (IR) signal, to manipulate the HDMI equipment without having to be in front of it.
Connection and Operation
1. Use an HDMI cable to connect the signal source to the transmitter of the extender, the cable can be up to 50 meters long
2. Use an HDMI cable to connect the signal end to the receiving end of the extended period, the cable can be up to 50 meters long
3. Use a cat5e cable or cat6 cable (recommended) to replace the HDMI cable to connect the transmitter and receiver of the extender, and the maximum transmission length is 50 meters
4. Connect the 5V power supply to the extender to supply power to the extender
