Lotus head audio cable

Lotus head audio cable is a kind of audio cable. Lotus interface RCA head, commonly known as lotus line is suitable for VCD, DVD, TV, recorder, CD, etc. and audio, amplifier, mixer to connect and transmit their audio signals, widely used in recording studios, stage audio, video and audio systems.

A kind of audio and video cable, the connection head is more like a lotus, so it is called “lotus head”, or “lotus plug” (English name is RCA connector).
The RCA connector is not specifically designed for any kind of interface, but can be used to transmit audio, as well as to transmit ordinary video signals, and is also a plug for DVD components (YCrCb or YPbPr), but the number is three.

RCA is an acronym for Radio Corporation of American, as the RCA connector was invented by this company.
RCA is also called AV terminal, also known as AV interface, almost all TV, DVD player products have this interface. RCA connectors are the most common type of audio/video terminals. This two-wire connection terminal was invented by RCA Recording Company back in the days of radio, and there is an older, and more strangely called a “turntable” connector.

The RCA terminal uses coaxial transmission of signals, the central axis is used to transmit signals, and the contact layer of the outer circle is used to ground and can be used to transmit digital audio signals and analog video signals. RCA audio terminals are generally coded in pairs with different colors: red for the right channel and black or white for the left channel. Sometimes, the center and surround channel cables are color-coded to make it easier to distinguish between wiring, but all RCA connectors in the system are electrically the same. Generally speaking, RCA stereo audio lines are a group of left and right channels, and each channel is a line in appearance.

Usually there are pairs of white audio connectors and yellow video connectors. RCA (commonly known as lotus head) is often used for connection, and only the standard AV cable with lotus head needs to be connected to the corresponding interface.
RCA interface advantages
The AV interface realizes the separate transmission of audio and video, which avoids the degradation of image quality caused by mixed audio/video interference. However, because the AV interface still transmits a luminance/chroma (Y/C) mixed video signal, it still needs to be separated by the display device and decoded by chrominance to image, and this process of mixing and then separating will inevitably cause the loss of color signal, and the chrominance signal and luminance signal will also have a great opportunity to interfere with each other and affect the image quality of the final output. AV also has a certain vitality, but due to its insurmountable shortcomings of Y/C mixing, it cannot be used in some occasions that pursue visual limits.
The most widely used interface on audio and video devices, and is available on almost every audio and video device for audio and video input and output.

Split into two lines
That is, you can use headphones and speakers at the same time, without this line you can only use one of the headphones and speakers.
It is divided into three lines
Audio cable connecting DVD and TV Video cable, some computers with multi-function terminals can also be used to connect TV, or home large speakers, to ensure quality, no scratches, no rust product features: a 3.5 plug signal into three RCA plugs (lotus head), the product texture is soft and durable. (Note: 3.5 is 3 rings on the head, assuming your original product is 2 rings.) Nowadays the insertion of the purchase of 3 rings may have no signal in part of the plug).
Fever shielding wire
The price of finished audio and video lines on the market is cheap, each line is generally without shielding, long-distance transmission or in professional occasions with many and complex electrical equipment is easy to be electromagnetic interference caused by other signals, not suitable for use, generally with shielded cables, or the use of balanced transmission lines (XLR head), household use is less interference, with or without shielding layer has minimal impact. Shielded threads are more expensive and are only used by some so-called audiophiles, who constantly strive for perfect and undistraction-free audio and video effects.
Wires with shielding layers generally have two cores in the middle, which are wrapped by an insulating layer, and the insulation layer may also be of different colors, which is convenient for distinguishing signals during welding. Any core can be used as a signal end or ground end, such as one core is welded to the signal end (the intermediate shaft head of the lotus head), then the other core is welded to the ground end (the outer ring metal of the lotus head, generally has a round hole, easy to thread and fix, this is the signal loop). One end of the shield cannot be welded, and the other end is also welded to the ground end (the outer ring metal of the lotus head), which is called single-ended grounding, and according to enthusiasts, electromagnetic interference can be shielded and introduced into the real ground. This kind of line is generally marked with an arrow on the outside, one end of the arrow is the shielding welding ground end, generally connected to the display end, the power amplifier end, and the other end is the shield hanging end (redundant cut off when DIY), connecting the DVD player or other sound source. If it is a front and rear stage connecting the amplifier, follow the arrow to point to the rear stage connection.
The audio signal transmission direction is: the output end of the audio and video machine, the input end of the line, the output end of the line, (the video input interface of the monitor or TV) the power amplifier pre-stage input, the power amplifier pre-stage output, the power amplifier post-stage input, the power amplifier post-stage output, the speaker line input, the speaker line output, the speaker input (terminal post). 3.5 or 2.5 plugs are wired according to this principle. Some shielding wires also use four or five layers of shielding, and the role needs to be verified.
