It’s about to have a meeting, and I am in a hurry to use the computer to project the TV, but the screen has no image display or no video signal … What to do?
Don’t panic when you encounter such a problem, so that you can find the cause by troubleshooting!
1. The interface is plugged and unplugged abnormally
Check whether the plugs at both ends of the HDMI cable are plugged and unplugged in place, if the plug is loose or the HDMI interface of the TV is damp and worn, there will be poor contact, resulting in the screen cannot be displayed normally. In this case, it is recommended to re-plug or replace the interface for testing.
2, plug in the wrong HDMI interface
If a desktop computer host with a discrete graphics card is connected to the TV, you need to plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI interface of the computer graphics card, not the HDMI interface on the motherboard.
3, the cable connection direction is not correct
Check whether the HDMI cable used is a copper core or an optical fiber type, if it is an optical fiber HDMI cable, you need to see whether the connectors at both ends of the cable are plugged in.
Trivia: Optical fiber HDMI line is unidirectional transmission, and both ends come with direction identification, “Source” is the transmitter, connect the signal source equipment; “Display” is the display end, connected to a display device such as a TV/projector/monitor, once connected backwards, it cannot be displayed.
4. Check the signal source settings
After troubleshooting hardware problems, there is still no picture signal display when connecting the computer and TV with an HDMI cable, which is probably because you did not choose the right signal source!
In this case, we can operate through the TV remote control and set the TV signal source input to the corresponding “HDMI input”. If the computer and TV are connected with a VGA cable, set the signal source to “VGA input”.
Trivia: There are many signal source interfaces that come with smart TVs now, such as: HDMI1/2/3/4 interfaces, VGA interfaces, AV interfaces, DVI interfaces, etc., which interface the signal source device is connected to, the TV side has to switch to the corresponding signal source, so that the picture signal can be displayed.
